Siggie rules:
Picture Only -OR- Picture & Text
Picture Size = Maximum 200h x 600w
Lines of Text = Maximum of 2 lines using a 'normal' font size (including line breaks to add lines of space)
Text ONLY (no picture used)
Lines of Text = Maximum 6 lines if there is no picture used (including line breaks to add lines of space)
Please
keep in mind that if you do use line breaks between the banner and the
text in your signature in order to create spaces between the two you
will
only have ONE line remaining for your actual text. If using text only,
you will need to make sure that your text is not occupying more
than 6 lines including those line breaks as a part of those 6 lines.
Unsure
of the size of the picture within your signature? You can check it by
simply right clicking on the image in question, selecting 'Properties'
and within the Image Properties you should be able to see the Height
and Width of the image selected.
If you find that your image
is outside of the guideline and have your picture uploaded to
Photobucket, the appropriate changes can be made using the Photobucket
edit/resize tool available in your Photobucket account. In order to
retain the proper image quality and to take the guesswork out of
figuring out how much you need to reduce each side to get it within the
guidelines, make sure to click on the box next to "Keep Proportions".
By making the changes directly in your Photobucket you don't even have
to make any changes to your actual signature (unless you are outside
the guidelines with your text also) as the changes to your photo will
automatically take effect for all images linked back to PhotoBucket. If
you are still unsure of how to check and/or accomplish this, please
post in the Help & Suggestions area for further assistance.
